Senior Software Engineer:
Research, analyze, test, and modify Software/System applications using .NET, C#, T-SQL, HTML, and Java Script; Modify Software designs and specialized utility programs and provide status reports to the project manager; Work in team environment testing and developing software/system applications in accordance with project specifications under the direct supervision of the technical manager; Provide architectural solutions using .NET Framework, C#, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, AJAX, SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, Java script, and application server such as IIS; Develop Web based applications using ASP.NET, WCF/Web Services with IIS, C#, .NET with Agile development methodology; Develop and test Web based GUI application with very good understanding of user interface; Develop applications from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, documents and implements complex software applications; Develop and maintain code developed in C#/ASP.NET using user centered design for scalable, secure and service oriented solution; Assist in design and development of new application in technologies such as: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Rich Internet Applications(RIA), and executive dashboards.
Requires US or foreign Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years experience in IT consulting including 1 year of specialization in financial, government or industries, Five years of software development experience and demonstrated technical proficiency using .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, AJAX, Web Services, SQL Server, T-SQL, and application servers such as IIS; Requires strong written and oral communication skills.
Current opening is in Austin, TX. Must be willing to frequently relocate within the US to different client sites to initiate or support projects with new or existing clients; Projects typically last 6 months to 3 years.
